Privacy and data practices
Privacy, explained clearly.
How Gulfshore Rides LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information connected with website visits, ride requests, reservations, payments, location tools, and communications.
This Privacy Policy explains how Gulfshore Rides LLC ("Gulfshore Rides," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit https://gulfshorerides.com, request or book transportation, use our fare and trip-planning tools, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services.
This policy is a notice of our data practices. Using the website does not, by itself, mean that you consent to optional text messaging, marketing, precise-location access, analytics cookies, or sharing a ride request with another transportation provider. When consent is required, we request it separately.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that is reasonably necessary to operate the website, respond to requests, arrange transportation, process payments, communicate about rides, maintain business records, protect our services, and comply with law.
Booking and trip information
When you request or arrange transportation, we may collect:
- Your first and last name.
- Pickup, drop-off, return, and stop addresses.
- Travel dates and pickup times.
- Airline, flight number, airport, cruise-port, or similar travel details.
- Passenger and luggage counts.
- Child-seat, pet, accessibility, vehicle, and other ride requirements.
- Gate codes, special instructions, notes, and other information you choose to provide.
- Reservation status, assigned driver or transportation provider, ride changes, cancellations, and service history.
Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in a free-text field.
Contact and communication information
We may collect your telephone number, email address, communication preferences, and the contents of messages you send by website form, telephone, text message, email, WhatsApp, or another communication channel. We may also retain reasonable records of our responses and customer-service interactions.
Information about bookings made for another person
If you arrange a ride for someone else, we may collect information about both the booking contact and the passenger. You are responsible for having permission to provide the passenger's information and to arrange the ride on the passenger's behalf.
Text messaging and SMS consent
If you separately opt in, Gulfshore Rides may send reservation-related text messages, including booking confirmations, reservation updates, payment links, pickup changes, driver or customer-support communications, cancellation notices, and payment receipts.
Message frequency varies based on reservation activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not required to request or book a ride.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at Book@GulfshoreRides.com or (239) 523-2222. After an opt-out request, we may send one confirmation that the opt-out was processed. We will not resume automated or ongoing reservation texts unless you provide new consent.
If you initiate a text conversation or specifically ask us to reply by text, we may send reasonable person-to-person responses about that inquiry. A direct response to a customer-initiated conversation is separate from enrollment in an automated or ongoing text-messaging program.
Gulfshore Rides does not sell, rent, or share SMS consent, mobile telephone numbers, or text-messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide mobile information to messaging and communications service providers only as needed to deliver and manage messages for Gulfshore Rides. SMS consent is not transferred to approved transportation partners.
Additional text-message terms are available in our Terms of Use.
Payment and transaction information
Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Gulfshore Rides does not receive or store your complete card number, CVV, PIN, or full card credentials. Depending on the payment method, we or our payment provider may retain your name, billing contact information, transaction date, amount, payment status, payment method type, processor-generated identifiers, and masked card details such as the last four digits.
If you pay by cash, Venmo, Zelle, Pay Driver, or another approved method, we may retain the information reasonably necessary to document and reconcile that payment.
Fare Finder and Trip Planner information
When you use a fare, route, availability, or trip-planning tool, we may collect the origin, destination, ZIP code, service area, travel direction, requested date and time, estimated fare, requested options, availability result, and information entered in the associated form. We use this information to produce an estimate, review availability, respond to the request, improve route planning, and maintain operational records.
Location, maps, and address information
We use mapping, places, routing, autocomplete, and geocoding services to help validate addresses, estimate routes, and coordinate transportation.
If you select a current-location or closest-address feature, your device or browser will request permission before providing location information. If you grant permission, precise coordinates or a derived location may be processed to suggest an address and improve the route request. You can decline location permission and enter an address manually. We do not treat the use of the website as permission to access precise device location.
Flight-tracking information
When you provide a flight number, we may use a flight-tracking service to monitor public arrival, departure, delay, terminal, or status information. We use flight information to coordinate the requested ride and do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Website, device, cookie, and analytics information
When you visit the website, we and our service providers may collect:
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser, device, operating-system, and language information.
- Pages viewed, referring and exit pages, links selected, and approximate visit times.
- Cookie and similar-technology identifiers.
- General geographic information derived from an IP address.
- Website interaction information such as clicks, scrolling, navigation paths, and session activity.
- Security, performance, diagnostic, and error information.
Where enabled and permitted by your cookie choices, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity help us understand site traffic and interactions. Microsoft Clarity may use pseudonymous identifiers and create session replays or similar interaction records. These tools are used for website measurement and improvement, not to sell personal information or make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about an individual.
2. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide fare estimates and review trip requests.
- Confirm, schedule, dispatch, modify, and complete transportation.
- Coordinate drivers, approved transportation partners, passenger needs, routes, and flight timing.
- Send booking confirmations, pickup details, driver information, payment status, support responses, and other requested service communications.

Gulfshore Rides does not sell personal information to data brokers or use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising. We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about a customer.
3. When We Disclose Information
We disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, with your direction or consent, or as required by law.
Drivers and dispatch personnel
We provide drivers and dispatch personnel with the trip, passenger, contact, and operational information reasonably needed to coordinate and complete a ride.
Approved transportation partners
If Gulfshore Rides cannot serve a requested time or route, we may offer a separate partner-review option. We will share the request with approved transportation partners only after the customer provides affirmative, ride-specific authorization.
Partner sharing may include contact information, trip itinerary, pickup and drop-off details, passenger and luggage needs, and service notes reasonably necessary to review that ride request. It does not include full payment-card credentials or SMS marketing consent. An approved partner may use the information to evaluate, respond to, arrange, and provide the authorized ride request, subject to the partner's own legal obligations and privacy practices. Partner authorization is not consent to unrelated marketing.

We may disclose information to service providers that support our operations, including:
- Stripe or another approved payment processor for card processing, payment links, receipts, refunds, and transaction records.
- Twilio or another approved messaging provider for reservation-related SMS delivery, consent and opt-out management, and message records.
- Microsoft 365 and Outlook services for reservation email, calendar coordination, and business communications.
- Intuit QuickBooks or another accounting provider for accounting, payment reconciliation, mileage, and tax records.
- Google Maps Platform or another mapping provider for address autocomplete, geocoding, routing, distance estimates, and location suggestions.

- Flight-tracking providers for flight status used in ride coordination.
- TrustedSite and similar trust or website-monitoring providers for certification, security, or site-monitoring functions.
- Professional advisers and vendors such as accountants, insurers, legal advisers, and technical support providers when reasonably necessary.
These providers may process information only for the services they provide to Gulfshore Rides, subject to their agreements, instructions, and applicable law. Some providers also process information under their own published privacy terms when you interact directly with their services.
Business and legal disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, a court order, insurance requirements, or a lawful governmental request; investigate fraud, abuse, safety, or security concerns; enforce agreements; or protect the rights, safety, and property of customers, drivers, partners, Gulfshore Rides, or others.
If ownership or control of all or part of Gulfshore Rides changes, relevant business information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. Payment Security
Card payment processing is handled by a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. Gulfshore Rides does not receive or store complete card numbers, CVVs, PINs, or full card credentials. We use SSL/TLS encryption for the website and apply reasonable access restrictions to reservation and transaction records.
No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. If you believe that payment or account information associated with a Gulfshore Rides transaction has been compromised, contact us promptly at Book@GulfshoreRides.com or (239) 523-2222.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain required business records, or to meet legal, tax, insurance, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, consent, dispute, and enforcement obligations.
Retention is determined using the following criteria:
- Booking and trip records: The period reasonably needed to provide the ride, support customers, maintain service history, address disputes, document insurance matters, and meet accounting or legal obligations.
- Payment and accounting records: The period required by applicable tax, accounting, payment-network, processor, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Contact and communication records: The period reasonably needed to respond, provide service-related follow-up, document requests, resolve issues, and protect against fraud or disputes.
- SMS consent and message records: The period reasonably needed to document when and how consent was obtained, manage messaging, prove compliance, and honor opt-out requests. An opt-out suppression record may be retained so that we do not send messages contrary to your request.
- Partner-authorization records: The period reasonably needed to document the customer's ride-specific authorization and resolve issues involving the request.
- Analytics information: The retention period configured for each analytics service and identified, where practicable, in the cookie-preferences panel.
- Security and diagnostic records: The period reasonably needed to secure, troubleshoot, and protect the website and services.
You may request deletion using the contact information in Section 14. We may deny or limit a deletion request when retention is reasonably necessary to complete a requested service, maintain required records, honor an opt-out, detect fraud or security incidents, resolve disputes, establish or defend legal claims, comply with law, or protect safety and legal rights. When feasible, we will delete or deidentify information that is no longer needed.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. Measures may include SSL/TLS encryption, PCI DSS-compliant card processing, access controls, authentication, security monitoring, backups, and limiting access to personnel and providers with a business need.
No security measure guarantees complete protection. If a security incident affects personal information, we will investigate and provide notices as required by applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act where applicable.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult must arrange transportation for a minor.
Information about a child seat, minor passenger, or family-travel requirement may be provided by the adult arranging the ride. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information directly to us without appropriate authorization, contact Book@GulfshoreRides.com, and we will review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Privacy Choices and Requests
Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, you may ask us to:
- Provide access to personal information associated with you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information that we are not required or permitted to retain.
- Explain the categories of information we collect and disclose.
- Opt you out of marketing communications.
- Review or withdraw an optional consent.
To protect customers, we may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If you submit a request for another person, we may require evidence that you are authorized to act for that person.
Florida residents
We maintain reasonable safeguards and provide security-incident notifications as required by the Florida Information Protection Act. To the extent the Florida Digital Bill of Rights or another Florida privacy law applies to Gulfshore Rides or a particular processing activity, we will honor the rights and obligations required by that law. We also accept reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests from customers even when a specific statutory right does not apply.
California and other state residents
State privacy rights differ and often apply only when a business meets specific statutory thresholds. To the extent the CCPA/CPRA or another state privacy law applies to Gulfshore Rides or a particular request, we will honor the rights required by that law. Gulfshore Rides does not sell personal information or share SMS consent or mobile information for third-party marketing.
Marketing, email, and SMS choices
Marketing communications are optional. Marketing emails will provide a reasonable unsubscribe method. Reservation-related or customer-service communications that are necessary to handle an active request, payment, safety matter, or ride may still be sent through an appropriate channel.
To opt out of reservation-related SMS, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP. Opting out of SMS does not cancel a reservation or prevent necessary non-SMS communications about an active ride.
12. International and Out-of-State Visitors
Gulfshore Rides is based in Florida, United States. If you provide information from another state or country, the information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will display a new "Last Updated" date. For a material change, we will provide additional notice or request consent when required by applicable law.
An update to this notice does not retroactively create consent for optional SMS, marketing, precise-location access, non-essential cookies, or partner sharing.
